Biography

Born on the eastern shores of Canada, in a small coastal community, Éveline grew up with the scent of the ocean breeze and the wind of the waves in her hair.
From a childhood gently swayed by the tides, she moved in adulthood to the northern hills of New Brunswick. Here, the moss covered rocks, the forests and the woodland streams filled her senses in a new way.
Éveline Gallant Fournier's work is composed of imagined worlds and characters. Words, paintings and sculptures become passageways where symbolism and mystery come to life.
